Friends of Mau Watershed (FOMAWA) is a non-profit organization committed to the conservation and restoration of the Mau Forest, one of Kenya’s largest and most vital forest ecosystems. Established with the mission to protect this invaluable natural resource, FOMAWA engages local communities, farmers, schools, and stakeholders in sustainable reforestation efforts that address both environmental and socio-economic challenges.
